Every week the Purple Pipe Podcast dedicates time to Mustang athletics. We talk to the athletes and coaches who matter most.

Episode 23 features Bryn Ramsay and Evan Cranshaw from the men's volleyball team, who will open up the Ontario University Athletics playoffs on Saturday with a quarter-final matchup against the Ryerson Rams.

Co-hosts Nathan Kanter and Shane Roberts talks with the guests about how their volleyball careers began, how the season has gone, what their goals are for the OUA playoffs, captain Doug's epic beard and much more.

Some other highlights include learning more about the controversy surrounding the Waterloo Warriors men's volleyball team earlier this season and the optimistic coaching style of Jim Sage.


Shane is a fourth year History student at Western. It is his first year as a sports editor for the Gazette. He is also a member of the cross country and track and field teams at Western.
