Every week the Purple Pipe Podcast dedicates time to Mustang athletics. We talk to the athletes and coaches who matter most.

Episode 17 features fifth-year seniors Chris Cauley and Isoken "Izzy" Ogieva from the track and field team, who host the Don Wright team challenge this weekend.

Host Nathan Kanter is solo this time and talks with the guests about what drew them to Western, what head coach Vickie Croley is like, why minor injuries for track athletes matter so much, why Western's track at Thompson Arena is in need of some upgrades and what the two have in store after they graduate, among other things.

The guests fly through Mustang Trivia and need a tiebreaker to determine the winner.

Nathan is the digital managing editor for volume 109 of the Western Gazette. Nathan studied MTP for his undergrad, a mixture of MIT at Western and television broadcasting at Fanshawe, before receiving his masters in journalism from Western last year.
