Every week the Purple Pipe Podcast dedicates time to Mustang athletics. We talk to the athletes and coaches who matter most.

Episode 22 features Aja Gyimah and Taylor Beedie from the women's volleyball team, who are currently sitting in first place in the Ontario University Athletics west division with a 15–2 record.

Host Shane Roberts talks with the guests about how their volleyball careers began, why they choose Western, how the season has gone and what their goals are for the OUA playoffs, what it felt like to be left out of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport top 10 ranking, the "Brock curse" and much more.

Some other highlights include learning about Taylor's badminton career in high school and Aja's experience playing for team Canada in volleyball at the Maccabiah Games in Israel.
